
Christian Freudenberg primarily specialises in the area of industrial property rights (trademark law, competition law and technical protective rights), copyright and registered design law, particularly in enforcement of protective and personality rights as well as contractual matters in the field of licensing and entertainment. He represents for domestic and international media companies, branded goods manufacturers, advertising agencies, music producers and artists.
Christian Freudenberg studied law at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum from 1987 to 1992, subsequently becoming a research assistant at the University of Rostock and the University Hagen. Following a one-year position in a small office specialising in copyright, he worked for various domestic and international companies within the edel music AG from 1998 to 2000, most recently as Director Business Affairs. Since 2001, he has worked exclusively as an attorney once again and has been a partner with LICHTE Rechtsanwälte since 2002.
He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP).
