
The focus of Richard Landfermann’s activity is on industrial property rights and trademark law.
He studied law at the universities of Bonn and Hamburg and gained experience in media law already during his studies and legal internship by working for GVL (Collecting Society for the Exploitation of Neighbouring Rights), WDR (West German Broadcasting Company), the publishing group Milchstraße, Gruner + Jahr and the newsroom of NDR (North German Broadcasting Company). He took his doctorate at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel on the subject of “Mobile Telephone Ring Tones under Copyright and Trademark Law“ (V&R unipress, Göttingen 2006).
