Lena-Marie Schmidt advises advertising agencies, musicians, artists, authors and other creative professionals, as well as music labels, galleries and other companies in the creative and entertainment industry. A particular focus of her work is litigation.
During her education, she specialised in media law issues and gained practical experience in this area, particularly in advertising, competition, copyright, press and publicity law.
She studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Lunds Universitet in Lund, Sweden and took her doctorate at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. She joined LICHTE in 2023 and became a junior partner in 2026.
Lena-Marie Schmidt lectures at training and education events for young artists and members of creative professions for the Claussen-Simon Foundation. She is a member of the German Women Lawyers Association (djb) and the Kunstverein in Hamburg.
